CFC72: TOOT YOUR OWN HORN

Hi all

Made a card for CAS-ual Fridays. This week's challenge is we should take inspiration from our blog Banner.
The banner i had is a gift by a bloggerfriend Sridevi who designed for me.
I asked her if i can you her image. I had seen so many beautiful creations by fellow participants and after seeing their interpretation, thought why not keep the same fairy as it is and add a sentiment related to it.

So i drew the fairy and coloured with water colour pencils.

Hope you like it.

This was a really insightful read about the current publishing landscape and how authors are navigating their options today. The points about creative control and long-term goals especially stood out to me. Many writers struggle to decide whether to go traditional or independent, and discussions like this help clarify that journey. It’s interesting how the role of the best self publishing companies often comes down to alignment with an author’s vision rather than hype. Thanks for sharing such a balanced and thoughtful perspective on book publishing choices.

This post really highlights how thoughtful and creative planning can elevate any project, whether it’s an event or something more personal like writing a book. It reminded me of how important it is for authors to find the right support when preparing their work for readers. Working with an experienced book publishing company
can make a big difference in understanding industry standards and getting your manuscript ready for a wider audience. Have you seen this kind of guidance help other creative projects succeed?
